Certifications

Atossa Genetics has established a clinical laboratory for cytology and molecular diagnostics testing (The National Reference Laboratory for Breast Health; NRLBH) with all interpretations conducted by experienced, board-certified pathologists.

The NRLBH has been certified by CMS under the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) certification program. The NRLBH also holds state laboratory licenses in California, Florida, Maryland, Rhode Island, and Washington.

Dr. Steven Quay, MD, PhD, FCAP is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and received his training at The Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. He is a former faculty member of the Department of Pathology, Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CA.
